In honour of the first day of Autumn in Australia, here is a pic of my Rob Ryan autumn plate... one of a set of four that I gifted to myself at Christmas. Collecting plates is not really my thing, but this little bit of art was impossible to resist.
I've seen those designs before, I love them too. What a nice christmas treat for you. (My christmas treat was air con for my bedroom- I know you love summer but our summers here in Perth are pretty relentless often with over 40* days and minimum teps over night in the high 20's or even 30's for weeks on end- I am afraid that I don't cope with that kind of heat over long periods, now I can sleep in summer it's much more enjoyable.)
Can't say I blame you for the air con, my flat is quite cool, and Melbourne weather is generally not as harsh as Perth (for extended periods at least). When it's really hot, I close the place up and so it's generally bearable. Good on you for treating yourself.
